The following checklist will help you prepare your manuscript that conforms to the journal style before submission. Please tick the box to check.
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS (Those marked with * are mandatory, the failure to comply will result in the return of the manuscript)
Read the Journal’s Instructions for Authors at www.scienceasia.org and make sure that the manuscript (text, tables, figures, and photographs) meets Journal requirements, especially the length and number of Figures and Tables.
The manuscript contains the main sections outlined in Journal’s Instructions for Authors, e.g., Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments and References.
* THE COVER LETTER AND THE 3 SUGGESTED REVIEWERS WITH AFFILIATIONS AND EMAILS ARE PROVIDED.
The manuscript is not currently and will not be submitted to any other journal.
TITLE PAGE
The title of the manuscript is short and descriptive and does not contain abbreviation.
Names of all authors, their affiliations and emails are included with * indicating corresponding author.
3-5 Keywords are provided.
TEXT FORMAT
The manuscript is in single column (not double column) format.
* ABSTRACT CONTAINS NO MORE THAN 250 WORDS WRITTEN CONTINUOUSLY AS ONE PARAGRAPH WITHOUT SUBSECTIONS.
* THE PAGES ARE NUMBERED CONSECUTIVELY BEGINNING FROM THE TITLE PAGE, ALSO ADD LINE NUMBER RUN CONTINUOUSLY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TEXT.
Terms that are abbreviated are written out completely the first time they are used, and then abbreviated thereafter.
REFERENCES
References are numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the text, and all must be included in the list of references.
All references, containing article title, are formatted according to the style of the journal.
The references cited are current and up-to-date.
Total number of References should not exceed 40 (research article) or 70 (review article).
Use et al after the 8th author when there are more than 8 authors.
Personal communications or unpublished observations cited in the text, if really needed, are not included in the list of References.
TABLES AND FIGURES
All Tables and Figures are prepared according to the journal format. They are numbered, with Arabic numerals, consecutively in the order of their initial citation in the text.
The same data are not presented in both Tables and Figures
Figure Legends are provided on a separate page (do not incorporate into the Figure), following the list of References.
All symbols and abbreviations are defined in the Figure Legends (avoid incorporating them into the Figure).
All Figures that are graphs and maps (not photos) are supplied as EPS (encapsulated postscript) or PDF files generated directly from the graph or map drawing program. The files are not converted from another format. The original high-resolution images could be submitted at the post-referee review stage.
