ABSTRACT: Investigation of the black heartwood of Diospyros mollis, Griff led to the isolationof naphthoquinone dimer 3, naphthalene 8, and naphthaldehydes 9 and 10. While 10 has earlier been isolated from other Diopyros species compounds 3, 8, and 9 are novel.
