ABSTRACT: (+)-Jatrophol, 9, (+)-marmesin, 13, propacin, 15, and jatrophin, 18, were isolated from the polar fraction of the crude extract of the root of Jatropha curcas; their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and comparison with authentic samples.
