THE STATISTICAL DISTRIBUTION OF HOURLY SOLAR RADIATION AMOUNTS IN THAILAND

Summary: Tables are given of the statistical distributions of the ratio of actual hourly solar radiation amounts to maximum possible amounts at Chiang Mai and Bangkok for six classes of daily total solar radiation and for eight 1 1/2 month periods of the year. The use of these tables to simulate the fluctuating sequence of hourly solar radiation amounts is discussed.
